Cork is located in in the province of Munster right on the south west coast of Ireland. Cork is the largest county in Ireland and Cork city is the second largest city in Ireland with a population of roughly 300,000. The city was first settled I the 6th century, so there’s a lot of history to this place, but don’t think that because its old that its tired. Cork has a young vibrant population and the city has a wealth of cultural, outdoor activities, tourist attractions day tours and nightlife all within an hour’s reach. If you choose cork for your destination you won’t be disappointed.
